The doctors have concurred and Mom will have surgery on Wednesday about 3 PM. They will remove the compressed part of her small intestine so she can get rid of her "elephant trunk" and begin eating food again, YEA! Recovery should be a few days before we can finally take her home.

Oh Grandma, we love you and miss you so much! I wish with all my heart I could be there to see you and talk to you and tell you that I love you and try to explain the impact you have had on my (and our) lives. Please know we are always thinking about you and sending encouragement your way to help you fight as long as you can so we can see you again. I know you miss grandpa and David...but they will get you soon enough. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!! :) We love you!
We are working on getting the pictures of Nauvoo up -- so much has changed since we last visited you there. They don't even get to make the candles any more! We are praying for you and the surgeons. Sure love ya!
